VyRT tickets for the 27th of April will be up for grabs on the 14th

How wonderful it is that the guys are doing another VyRT for us! I am hoping to watch it live this time as last time I have some major issues. Can you actually believe it, my faithful laptop blew up? Sparks came flying out and than smoke..aarrrhhhhh my motherboard had enough and killed herself. What timing eh?


I know from the last time some of you guys couldnt get hold of tickets for various reasons so I am going to do the same this time.

Please, please please do not enter if you can get a ticket yourself or if you cant get to a PC that night, Please remember that this is for our brothers and sisters who cant get them. Im sorry that I cant buy more but I have limited the number to 10 tickets. This is really for the peeps who cant afford it. If you do have a credit or debit card you should be able to get a ticket yourself. If you dont and for example your birthday is coming up...this is the perfect time to ask for this as a pressie. In other words, please use this as a last resort.

Also, another thing, please dont email me with a sob story, this will only make me feel bad that I cant help you and to be honest I really do have allot on my mind without this extra pressure. I think most you guys know about my big sister so please dont make me feel bad...

I have already received a couple of messages saying how they deserve a #Vyrt ticket. This honestly makes me feel really down as I cant help all of you. So, if you have any love for me, do not do this to me.


On the 14th of April, a Saturday, I will do the giveaway.
This is how it will work:
It will be in the same format as the previous ones. So at 21:00 GMT I will do my usual tweet saying a phrase for you to tweet back.
It will be something like this:
'GO!!! the 15-25 people to tweet 'This is War' will win a ticket'

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE ONLY

Also, you can only tweet ONCE, you cannot tweet the phrase more than once, This is to give every person the same chance to win. If I see people tweeting more I will exclude you and I really dont want to do that. Please play fair....

So, once the winners are announced, I will ask them to DM their email address. Once I have this, I will email the Vyrt team.

What a surprise! A giveaway tonight.. 5th of April

I am in such a good mood! Long weekend & now the good news of #Vyrt. I'm in such a good mood that I fancy doing a little giveaway!

Hi Peeps!
Thank you all for your support for this project and thank you all for joining in on the fun the last few weeks.
As some of you may know, I've have just moved from my flat into a house. ARRHH, have to face up and be a responsible adult! And I know some of you may think its a little bit too early, im starting to save for the next tour. Ill be a member of the stalker crew together with @MarieS95 @_MimiBlack @AutumnalEchelon @OhSoRobsessed @EchelonTurtle


So, as a consequence, I will need to limit the give aways to once every month (money issues!).
I have been trying to think of the best way of doing it and I have come up with a few ideas.

• Thinking of doing the give aways on the 1st Saturday each month.
• I will do about 10 lots of give ways on that Saturday.
• The freebies will be as varied as I can get, trying to get items of all the guys.  Ive been hunting down some really unique one of a kind pieces.
• During the month if the boys are on the cover of Kerrang please do let me know so I can stock up for the next give away.

I recently asked you about the time of day to do the giveaway and most of you wish to stick with the current setup. So it will be at 9pm GMT.

I'm really sorry to have to do this guys and I hope I'm not disappointing too many of you.

I will do the freebies tomorrow (3rd of March) and I will do next week (10th of March) but after that it will be on the following dates:

May 5th
June 2nd

How it will work on Saturday 25th of February

Hello all!

First thing I must say is a big giant enormous thank you for all your messages. Honestly it has been one of the toughest weeks of my life but you guys have helped me so much & I can't say thank you enough. My sis will be going into surgery next week so I can't promise that there will be a giveaway next Saturday, I will try of course.

So, this week I will be giving away 5 sets of goodies, all different , all unique , all mars.

Just a heads up, Earrings are for pierced ears & rings are adjustable.

My love for 30 Seconds to Mars

I have received a tweet asking why I am giving allot of Jared items away & not of Shannon or Tomo.

The reason is simple:
If you go on eBay or amazon you will see that there are very few items of Shannon and none of Tomo.
So what I have been doing the past few weeks is asking sellers on eBay (from all over the world from the UK to thailand to Australia to the USA) if they have any Shannon & Tomo items. Very few do have any. I have bought items within by budget of Shannon & even commissioned items to be created of Tomo.

I try to vary my items to keep you all interested, this means I give away Mars items and items of the individual band members.
A book was recently published for Jared, I have not found any book on Mars nor of Shannon or Tomo.
If any of you do find something on the net that's reasonable priced of Shannon or Tomo, please do let me know.

The simple thing to do if you disagree with the items I'm giving away... DON'T FOLLOW ME NOR ENTER THE COMPETITION! I don't appreciate people telling me what I'm doing is wrong by giving "jared" items away only or that the items should be different.

I have written in a previous blog as the reasons behind me doing this. And I would be grateful if you can, read this so you can understand my love and respect for the band and all the members.

I truly believe in Karma, and I hope that through doing something as small as this, there is a very small chance that if you do win, you may feel slightly happy & may even smile, you could, in turn, make someone else smile who is in need of cheering up. I know that this is a long shot.....

How it will work- Saturday 18th February

This week is extra special as the head of our cult, Jared, is on the cover of kerrang magazine again!

With the help of echelon @cazza612 who also donated magazines, I have 12 kerrangs to give away. Please, if you can get hold of one yourself, please do not enter as this is for our brothers and sisters who don't live in Ireland or the Uk.
So what will happen? Hopefully it will be as crazy as ever!

A bit about me...

Hello to whoever is reading this.

I'll start off with the usual stuff..my name is Elizabeth but I go by Liz. I'm in my early 30's, according to many people I look like im still in the mid 20's, which is fine by me! I was born and brought up in Ireland. My childhood was so great but a couple of things did happen to my family, like most families out there- no one is perfect.
After finishing school I went to university & got a degree in Finance. Very boring but it helps pay the bills.
When I finished uni I got a job but a couple of years after I got bored and so I started my mammoth travelling tour. I planed to be gone about a year but that turned into about 4 years. During this time I didn't see my family. The question most people ask is 'what the fuck was I at all that time?'.
Well, I travelled China for 3 months, worked in India for about 9 months, travelled around India for an additional 9 months, lived in new Zealand for 1 year. The rest of my time was spent travelling many other countries like Thailand , Cambodia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka to name a few.
The most heart stopping moment during my travels was being caught up in the 2004 Tsunami. I was in southern India at the time and I remember watching the tv looking at how the events unfolded. I didn't have a mobile phone at the time so I use to use public phones. The q for the phone was at least 20 people long so I didn't bother waiting. So when I eventually did get a chance to use the phone it was 2 days later. I called home and my dad answered, and he started crying cause he thought I was a gone. This is the 1st and only time I've heard my dad crying. He than told me that I was on the missing persons list which the Irish government had complied. To this day I can't forgive myself for not waiting in that q to call home so I could tell my family I was safe.
A few days later I flew to Bangkok , I walked down a street where most of the backpackers hang out and I saw one side of the street covered with missing persons, the other side has the most heart stopping I have ever seen. I'm crying even now at the memory. The side of that street had pictures of body parts recovered. Asking people if they recognised any part of it. It was mostly pictures of tattoos asking of you recognised it. These pictures were of people who had lost their lives and who needed to be claimed.
Going through that completely changed me. I am lucky that I'm still here and even now I say a prayer for the people who lost their lives and their families.
After that I went into a 'relationship' with a fella, the less said the better. It lasted about 4yrs. After I realised what a total dick he was, I got out of it. I was left a broken person and I thank the echelon & 30 seconds to mars for helping to save me.

So, now I'm living in London. The main reason is that there is no jobs in Ireland. But on a good note, my family have moved here too so I'm very lucky to have my parents just around the corner to me. I've got a good job, but I work crazy hours. Working 12-14 hours a day is not unusual.

Today, it's snowing outside and the world look so fresh and pure. It's like a new beginning, a new world, a better world. I believe in karma, I believe that if I can just make 1 person smile maybe in turn they can make someone else smile and make the world just a tiny tiny bit more bearable.

1. Where do I get your stuff?    I get them in many places, amazon, eBay, markets in London & from the Mars store too.
2. What are the gloves made from?   They are leather
3. Where are the gloves from? All the gloves unless I state are NOT from the mars store. Sorry but they are just a bit too expensive. I try to get them as close to the mars store ones as possiable.
4. What are you counting down to?  The past few Saturdays, I do a countdown. As I know many of you are not in the same time zone to me, I try to let you all know how long it is to the Mars goodies give away.
5. Where do you get the earrings from?  From a fellow echelon who has an amazing gift to create such beautiful things, they are sold on eBay.
6. Do I have to pay for postage?     Nope, I pay for it.
7. Do you pass on my address to anyone?     NO!! I wouldnt do such a thing! Also as soon as I write your address on the envelope I delete it.
8. What are the 'rules'?      You need to follow me... and of course be an echelon.
9. What can I do in return?      All I ask is that if you can, try to help a fellow echelon by reaching out if anyone need help.
10. Do I need to tweet by pressing reply to your orginal tweet?      Its not necessary, as long as you tweet the phrase, that will be fine.
11. Are the earring for piersed ears or are they clipons?      They are for pierced ears.
12. How often to you do the give aways?      At the moment once a month, but I have been know to give stuff away during the month...if im in an extra good mood.
13. What time and what day do you give your stuff away?     Im doing it on the last saturday of every month, cause its the easiest day for me to do it. But if im going away for the weekend I will let you know. I live in the UK so if I gave a time of day please keep this in mind
14. Can I entre for the DVDs if I dont live in Europe?      If you can view them, of course, but if you cant please dont enter, try a different freebie.
15. Where do you get the signed stuff?     Really, from a different places, I buy them for you guys.
16. Why are you giving signed stuff away?     Well, I have 2 items signed by the guys for myself....any more would be greedie. Plus it your be nice to give it to an echelon who has none.
17. How long will it take me to get the stuff?     The goodies will be posted on a Monday. How long it takes to get to you I havent a clue... im not postman pat
18. How do I know when you posted my stuff?     I tweet as soon as I have posted all the goodies.
19. How do I know I have won?    I tweet as soon as I know, I tweet the person BEFORE I start the next give away
20. How can I find out who has won?   Look at my tweets, I tweet as soon as I know saying the person who has won.
21. If I win, can I enter again?   If you win, please do not enter for the rest of that days freebies. You can enter again the following week.
22. Will you be giving Kerrangs away again?    If Mars are on the cover, yes, but I dont read it each week so you need to tell me that they are in it.
23. Can I tweet the phrase more than once for each giveaway?    No, please tweet the phrase just once. This is so everyone gets a chance of winning the item. So please do not do it.
24. Will you be giving away VyRT tickets?
    Yes, if the guys are doing a VyRT transmission I will give some away before the show.
25. How will you be giving the VyRT tickets away?
    The same way as any other giveaway. This time the winners will need to DM their email address so I can pass this onto the VyRT team so the code will work for you.

My Mars Freebies....Why??

Hello Echelons,

Many of you have asked 'why are you doing this' or 'is there some sort of catch?' or my favourite 'im going to report you as some of the items look fake'.

The reason for me doing this is very simple.
       Over the past few years, I have had not, shall I say, not the best time. I went through something that no one should ever experience. I wont go into too much detail but it left me broken and no self confidence. 30 seconds to Mars, as silly as it may sound has helped me allot. A certain song in particular 'A Beautiful Lie' has helped me. Through Mars I met the Echelon, my second family. So many of you guys have helped me, but a special thank you to @MarieS95 @dancetheday @CaroSteinbakken @sainthope @_MimiBlack @AutumnalEchelon . Thanks to the love of these special people I am so so so much better now.

Last year in Antwerp I got to meet the guys and I handed Jared a letter explaining without him being such a creative genius I wouldn't be here right now. I truly believe this, that without the music and more importantly, you, the echelon I would not be here.

Through the giveaways I am hoping in a very small way to say 'Thank you Echelon'. Thank you for being there, thank you for listening and helping me.
